2008 Festival

What to bring

To make your Sydney Shakespeare Festival experience more enjoyable bring along:

  • A picnic and beverages of choice
  • A picnic blanket 
  • Low folding chairs (people on chairs will be asked to sit near the back of the audience area)
  • A jacket in case it gets cold.

Amenities at the festival

There is 1 x toilet block located in adjacent Federal Park (wheelchair accessible) and 2 x toilet blocks located in adjacent Jubilee Park. For the location of the toilets see the amenities map.

Bins will be provided by the festival for collection of recyclable and non-recyclable rubbish. Please use the festival provided bins, not the park bins to deposit your rubbish and/or take your rubbish with you.

What happens if it rains

Tickets are non-refundable, however, if a performance is cancelled due to bad weather or any other reason anytime before interval (9pm), your ticket will be redeemable for any future 2008 festival performance of your choice.

If you are concerned about whether the festival will go ahead due to the weather, please call (02) 9550 6772 from 6pm on the night of the performance.
