What happens if it rains?

We are an all weather festival and perform through drizzle and light rain. If rain is
forecast, make sure you bring a waterproof jacket, an umbrella and a ground sheet to
protect you from the elements.

If rain becomes persistent or heavy, we may stop the performance for a few minutes
until it eases and then continue on. There are large trees and a pavilion to take shelter
during this time.

If a performance is deemed ‘rained out’ either before or at any time during the
performance, there are no refunds, however your tickets can be redeemed at any
other 2011 Sydney Shakespeare Festival performance. If a performance is rained out
in the final week, your tickets can be redeemed at any 2011 or 2012 Sydney
Shakespeare Festival performance.

Check our blog or call us on 02 9319 2444 for weather updates after 6.30pm on
the night of the performance.
